Azure Cloud & DevOps Trainer

About the role

Azure is the platform of choice for a large share of Indian enterprises, banks and GCCs, and employers keep asking for Azure Administrator and Azure DevOps skills. You will teach the complete Azure + DevOps journey with real labs: identity, networking, compute, pipelines, infrastructure as code, containers on AKS and DevSecOps — and coach learners for AZ-104 and AZ-400.

Why this role matters now: Banks, GCCs and large enterprises in India run heavily on Azure, so Azure Administrator and Azure DevOps skills (pipelines, Bicep / Terraform, AKS, DevSecOps) are asked for in most enterprise cloud hiring.

What you will do

• Deliver live online Azure and Azure DevOps batches with a lab for every concept
• Build projects: a secure web app on Azure, a multi-stage YAML pipeline with approvals, infrastructure deployed with Bicep / Terraform, an AKS deployment with a pipeline
• Prepare learners for AZ-900, AZ-104 and AZ-400 with exam-style questions and labs
• Review assignments, give structured feedback and run mock interviews
• Keep content current with Azure and GitHub / Azure DevOps updates

Azure core

• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, Managed Identities

• Virtual Machines, Scale Sets, App Service, Azure Functions
• Storage Accounts, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB
• Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights
• Key Vault, Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, governance and cost management

Azure DevOps & automation

• Azure Repos, Boards, Pipelines (YAML, classic), Artifacts, Test Plans
• GitHub and GitHub Actions with Azure
• Docker, Azure Container Registry, AKS and Helm
• Infrastructure as Code: Bicep, ARM templates, Terraform
• PowerShell / Azure CLI scripting

DevSecOps & operations

• Code and dependency scanning, secrets management, secure pipelines
• Release strategies: blue-green, canary, feature flags
• Monitoring, alerting and incident basics

Certifications

• AZ-104 Azure Administrator Associate (required or willing to clear)
• AZ-400 DevOps Engineer Expert
• AZ-305 Solutions Architect Expert or AZ-500 Security Engineer — a plus
• HashiCorp Terraform Associate — a plus

You should have (the Fourcup trainer standard)

• 7+ years of hands-on industry experience in Microsoft Azure and DevOps — real projects delivered, not only teaching
• Excellent spoken and written English — you can explain a hard concept simply, live, to career-switchers and freshers
• A genuine interest in teaching and mentoring; patience with beginners and joy in seeing learners get job-ready
• Strong delivery: structured live sessions, hands-on demos and labs, clear doubt-clearing, assignments with feedback and mock interviews
• Reliable and professional: punctual, prepared, follows the batch plan and curriculum, and keeps learners motivated

Nice to have

• Prior experience as a trainer, mentor or interviewer
• Published content, a blog, GitHub projects or conference talks
• Experience preparing learners for interviews and certifications
