AWS Cloud & DevOps Trainer

About the role

Fourcup Schools is growing its Cloud & DevOps programme. Cloud and DevOps engineers are among the most in-demand and best-paid IT roles in India, and learners want a trainer who has actually run production workloads on AWS. You will teach the full AWS + DevOps path through live sessions and real-world labs, so learners can clear the AWS certifications and start working as cloud / DevOps engineers.

Why this role matters now: AWS is the most requested cloud platform in Indian DevOps and cloud postings, demand is running ahead of supply, and certified engineers who can also automate with Terraform and CI/CD are the ones employers shortlist.

What you will do

• Deliver live online batches covering AWS foundations to DevOps automation, with a lab for every topic
• Build and demonstrate end-to-end projects: a 3-tier app on AWS, a CI/CD pipeline, Dockerised apps on ECS/EKS, infrastructure built with Terraform
• Prepare learners for AWS Solutions Architect Associate and AWS DevOps Engineer Professional
• Review learner assignments and labs, give structured feedback and run mock interviews
• Keep the curriculum current with new AWS features and industry tooling

AWS core

• IAM (users, roles, policies, SSO)

• EC2, AMIs, Auto Scaling, ELB (ALB/NLB)
• S3, EBS, EFS, CloudFront, Route 53
• RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB
• Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, EventBridge
• KMS, Secrets Manager, Organizations

DevOps & automation

• Linux administration and Bash / Python scripting
• Git and GitHub / GitLab workflows
• CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy
• Docker, Amazon ECR, ECS (Fargate), EKS and Kubernetes basics, Helm
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (modules, remote state) and CloudFormation
• Configuration management with Ansible

Monitoring, security & cost

• CloudWatch, CloudTrail, X-Ray; Prometheus and Grafana
• DevSecOps: SonarQube, Trivy, secrets scanning, least-privilege IAM
• Cost optimisation and FinOps basics, Well-Architected Framework

Certifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (required or willing to clear)
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or SysOps Administrator
• HashiCorp Terraform Associate
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) — a plus

You should have (the Fourcup trainer standard)

• 7+ years of hands-on industry experience in AWS cloud and DevOps engineering — real projects delivered, not only teaching
• Excellent spoken and written English — you can explain a hard concept simply, live, to career-switchers and freshers
• A genuine interest in teaching and mentoring; patience with beginners and joy in seeing learners get job-ready
• Strong delivery: structured live sessions, hands-on demos and labs, clear doubt-clearing, assignments with feedback and mock interviews
• Reliable and professional: punctual, prepared, follows the batch plan and curriculum, and keeps learners motivated

Nice to have

• Prior experience as a trainer, mentor or interviewer
• Published content, a blog, GitHub projects or conference talks
• Experience preparing learners for interviews and certifications
